What? I'm the first? Okay here goes: I've been following your work since Dragon Scratching. You don't just create art work, you create characters that are alive! I love it and continue to support you (um, non-financially, of course).
Hi Mike. Thanks for popping over to my portfolio. It's fantastic to see yours too. I love the First Contact pic. I've been a bit absent from the challenge haven't I. I've just had a look at yours, and Korys workover. I'll be back but 'stuff' has got in the way. Wibble, Aly.
Hello, Michael. It is good to see your work here. I just wanted to say thanks for posting Wage slave. Aside from the fact that it is one of my favorites of your work, comments in that forum thread are helping me solve problems with my current painting.
Hi Michael. Your work rocks, nothing like stating the obvious. Thank you for posting your process on Wage Slave. Very Helpful. Also, I really dig your style in general: especially the humorous character design combined with Excellent rendering skills.
Hey Mike, just gotta say that I knew that people were way too busy to give me crits. It was all just me talking to myself poking fun. But I was very surprised to even get any crits this late in the game. Even more pleasantly surprised since it came from you.
Anyhow, I changed the hair and took away the ponytail, I could understand that the harness for the quiver could've looked like a bra or something. I also took out the wolf on the right and completely cropped the image. The bottom elements just werent working for me. And the thing you said about the tangents made a great deal of sense. From what your work and your recent submission tells me you got a great sense of composition. So its actuallt pretty cool to get a crit from you.
